My earliest "gestural" photographs. These were taken on Petticoat Hill in Williamsburg, Massachusetts as the rising sun cast light into the treetops.

KEY:

   f/stop = aperture or size of the lens opening; how much light is let into the camera
   sec. = length of exposure, in fractions of a second; how long the lens is open
   ISO = film speed; how rapidly the sensor reacts to light
